FOCUS 2019 Multifocal Symposium

On 6 April 2019, Alcon hosted the first annual FOCUS symposium at the Sofitel Brisbane. The 1.5-day clinical symposium was dedicated mastering the art and science of refractive surgery. Topics included how to grow your multifocal practice, pre-operative ocular assessment and calculations, patient selection and education, presbyopia-correcting IOL selection, presbyopia-correcting IOL pearls, case studies and complication avoidance and management of the unhappy refractive IOL patient. A/Prof Smita Agarwal was invited to attend the event as a guest of Alcon to discuss with delegates the latest advancements in Ophthalmology.
